ThisisAccra's tale revolves around sharing the lively culture and amazing people of Accra through creative and genuine storytelling. It is a project by TrekkinLab, aiming to promote Accra as a tourist spot and shine a spotlight on the unique stories of its people.
After 8 years of telling Accra’s Story, This Is Accra (TIA) sought out for a brand redesign, one that presents a fascinating perspective on the people, places and experiences of Accra and usher the brand into a new era.
Accra is known for its many motifs and street art. We took a look into the aesthetics of hand-painted signage that are widespread across the city. The patterns are made to resemble Ankara patterned cloth.
